Audience 8.6 – A very decent recording that may be slightly distant but is real clear and not boomy, rather there is a pretty inviting bottom end and sharp highs – it’s the middle frequency that is not as present which is not generally the case. The taper is in the brawling midst of the action on the floor and you really do feel a part of their excitement during the concert. I would say this is kind of immersive in that sense, and not annoyingly so either. A fun tape, I was sucked into it at times and could not extract myself. I had fun hearing all the goings on including the band…ha! Side Note: Jimmy is not having a night to remember…ah well.
