Audience 8.7 – I can imagine the difficulty in trying to capture something like this with all of the challenges not least of which is sheer volume and venues not ideal for the kind of acoustics metal presents. Does that mean this recording is bad? No, it’s obviously done on gear that can handle the job, but to my ears it’s something that you will need at least two songs to adjust, but once you do, it becomes the kind of tape that finds you sort of hanging on to see what happens next. It just feels like it will keep improving and maybe it does, or maybe you just find that you kind of dig it.
