Audience 8.5 – I would designate this recording as a reference recording – what was going on in 1973? That’s what this tape is, an old newspaper featuring a back story on this local band. Very dated…sound quality is marginal but not in a miserable, muddy, dogshit kind of way. It’s listenable and fun, like I said it is a good reference and may guide you towards other NYD tapes out there. I know I was certainly intrigued enough to seek out other recordings.
