Glasgow – Audience 8.7 – A great tape to hear the very beginnings of Ozzy’s solo career. and the brilliance of Randy Rhoads. Clear, and decent separation of instruments.
Newcastle – Audience 8.5 – Slightly muddy but it has the bones of a good tape recording. I feel like if this old tape was re-mastered with AI tools it would shine. Nothing is buried beyond salvation here, in fact I would say if you just keep listening your ears adjust to the sound and it gets better and better. Thankfully guitars are distinct, vocals too, it is really the bottom end that is a bit diffuse and rumbly.
