Audience 8.9 – This sounds WAY much better than I remember it sounding, but then I first heard this show about 25 years ago so I guess it’s quite possibly a new source or an amazing remastering. Either way, this is certainly VERY worthy of appearing in your collection as it captures that open air festival vibe, and the band…Gilmour is inspired as his solos pierce the air with ferocity and guile. Bass sounds right on point here, and drums are perfectly balanced and placed in the mix just behind the others so to give those sounds center stage. Keys are much more present during the quieter passages, but they have a nice feel to them. All in all, this is great great great stuff.
