Audience 8.5 – Some tape noise present, and some issues with the tape containing the sheer volume of the PA’s when the band is in full swing, but really this is a pretty “live” tape that gives you a great sense of the moment. Atmosphere is pretty cool, the sound is clear for the most part excepting the somewhat cluttered bandwidth at high volume. Worth getting.

This is not the Golden Hall concert. The original Golden Hall tape is crisp and detailed. Richard Wright was on fire that night and Roger Waters was in fine form with his song introductions. It is also missing the concluding jam called Blues.I have the Golden Hall concert on vinyl and have had it for decades.I have no idea what source tape this is but the band sound average and somewhat boring. For completists only.

I need to look into this. Thanks for the closer inspection and I hope it leads me to an upgrade…or even the correct show!
