Audience 8.4 – Unfortunately this is not the best recording. It’s a big stadium, but the flaws are not the typical big stadium flaws of too far away and echoey, rather a preponderance of bass. At times it lets up though, I mean, the rest of the band comes through (vocals being most audible) and you can hear what is going on but you have to round down some of that bass. A mastering job was done, and a lot of the boom was mitigated, and that is nice because this is the one tour that seems to be lacking in decent recordings (Jazz Tour). I’m thinking this one is for Queen completists, but with such nice artwork accompanying this title it’s worth grabbing if there is a discount going on.
