Audience 9.4 – Bright, lively, well-positioned recording that doesn’t leave anything out. If anything, I would have preferred even more lower end, that being said the bass itself is detailed and clear. I also, maybe, would have equalized just a little more of the mid band and highs, rolling off them just a touch but this is a GREAT problem to have for an analog tape recording. Putting high end into the spectrum is way much harder to do than removing it. Again though, this is just seasoning to taste and the listener may find it perfect – which technically speaking I admit the frequency range is extremely intact here.
