SCORPIONS – Donnington, UK 1980 (1CD)

Audience 8.7 – A VERY powerful recorded sound coming out at you like a hurricane. Thankfully this tape holds together, although it sounds like it’s going to tear apart any second – it’s quite a frantic recording if I can describe it that way.  You are like placed in front of the mains, and surprisingly you can hear everybody, especially Klaus who sounds BRILLIANT as does the entire band. Really cool stuff here from a band who is at their absolute peak, and right before MTV began taming them.
