Minden 1973 Audience 8.8 – One of the earliest concert recordings ever sourced! It sounds very good, decent equipment used, and maybe placed a little back in the club but otherwise it’s a lot better than it has a right to be. The band certainly evolved quite a bit from these early club days, but the character of the band never did. Fascinating document!
Minden 1974 Audience 9.4 – What a difference a year makes, as the band return to the same club a year later and wreck the place! Extremely tasty, the recording does the band justice as it literally just leaps out of the speakers with maximum ferocity while retaining enough detail and depth to let you sit and listen in total awe. Fucking hell this is good!
