Central Park 1971 Audience 8.6 – The limitations of this tape are mainly the over-riding level of tape his present, although it’s been re-mastered to the degree that much was removed without sacrificing highs. The actual recording is not bad, and even with some hiss, the tape does not sound like it is multiple gens down. Highs are good, lows are present, mix is not terrible (guitars are somewhat low, but this is a live mix situation and not the taping).
Copenhagen 1972 Audience 8.8 – A very clear tape with an emphasis on high end crispness (not brittle or irritating, just very clear in the high end), mix favors vocals, drums, then keys and guitars in the same range. An enjoyable tape!
