TED NUGENT & AMBOY DUKES – Michigan 1969-70 (1CD)

$16.49

Adrian 1969 & Detroit 1970 Audience 9.1 – Surprisingly good and clear! I was very tempted to call this a board tape but there’s too many artifacts that suggest otherwise…but it’s an amazing find being now the earliest known Amboy Dukes tape.

Detroit 1970 Audience 8.6 – The audio is clear but the live mix drowns out vocals. Drums are perhaps the strongest here, followed by the guitar/bass in tandem but I can also hear keys in the mix…so the verdict is that this tape is most welcome and delivers where it is needed even though it is a little rough around the edges.
