Audience 8.4 – This is not hi-fi by any stretch, but what it represents is a rollicking good time as only this band was capable of doing. In the mix is mostly Ron Wood and Rod Stewart, with a overdriving bass backbone that forces the intensity of the sound volume. It’s a full bodied tape, no bones about it. With modern mastering tools, it has been brought under control…somewhat. Hey, I have heard MUCH worse than this, and once the ears settle in to it, what you have is a recording that delivers the fun and electricity of The Faces.
