Audience 8.3 – Don’t let the rating fool you, this is an exciting tape! What lowers the rating is just a non-biased appraisal of the sonic limitations of the tape which is mainly the upper end distortion due to volume. It’s a small club and a loud band, and probably a consumer grade cassette recorder…but, it’s actually not that bad and delivers a real exciting vibe. I can tell you this for sure – you will be sucked into this recording and will completely get it, it’s a charming document of a long forgotten time and place. I got that melancholic feeling during the song “Last Thing On My Mind”.
