Audience 8.8 – This is a tape that does improve as it goes ultimately coming to a comfortable place, and one might say it is warm and well balanced. When I hear this I can better appreciate this period of the band, when they were experimenting with their music trying to find a place in the changing world of FM radio and top 40. Does that make it bad? I used to shake my head, but now I understand it, and I find that what they were doing was NEEDED in order to prevent ALL music from that time period sucking so much.
