DIRE STRAITS – Amsterdam & Cologne 1979 (4CD)

Audience 9.4 – Outstanding tape that has a full, rich bottom end that comes close to overshadowing the rest of the band but does not…but the fact that it is so insistent in the mix gives you that feeling like you are standing close to the mains and literally feel the bass and drums going right through you. That is what gives this recording an amazing live feel, because it literally places you right there and when you crank this you relive this event.  This date is NOT the same show as the other Cologne ’79 (Rockpalast) listed here. This is November 4th, 1979 so if you bought the other Cologne ’79 this is not that and this is equal if not better in some ways than the Rockpalast gig.
